Facing economic recession with Jon Lampel

Leasequip Inc. is a company that leases equipment, offers commercial financing and investment banking to other companies. It was cofounded by Jonathan Lampel who is also its current president in 1981 with the name Prudential Capital Corporation. In 1988 the two founders sold the name and rebranded their company Leasequip Inc. ever since its founding, the firm has experienced numerous success. It has supplied over six hundred companies with commercial leases either from its generated capital or in partnership with other banks. Under the leadership of Jon Lampel, the Leasequip has supplied loans to companies in aerospace, alternative energy, construction, medical and entertainment like during the 2008 economic crisis.

Before becoming the president of Leasequip Inc. Mr. Lampel worked with different companies in the financing industry. He has over twenty-five years of experience with helping companies with financial difficulties, to lease equipment and acquire loans. Mr. Lampel got his first job in the financial industry with a New Jersey-based firm called Dun and Bradstreet. At Dun and Bradstreet, he worked as a credit reporter. From Dun and Bradstreet, he joined the Crocker National Bank where he worked as a loans officer, credit analyst and as a portfolio manager. Jonathan then joined Wells Fargo Leasing Corporation in the same capacity before being put in charge of overseeing the leasing in twelve different states. He worked for Wells Fargo or four years between 1972 and 1976. He left Wells Fargo for Topa Equipment Leasing Inc. before finally opting for self-employment whereby he cofounded the Prudential Capital Corporation.
